Welding & Fabrication

All the fabrication and welding services you need.

Our welding and fabrication services offers experience across various types of industries. The process of welding uses heat and pressure to join metals and other materials together to form new shapes and objects. Material called filler is added to help weld the original pieces.

Welding is used in a range of industries. From automotive maintenance and production to shipbuilding.

There are a lot of techniques involved in the process of welding, including what is known as fabrication.

Fabrication is defined as taking raw stock material to create an end product. This differs from welding because it covers the entire process of creating a product — from design and cutting to formation and finishing.

Metal fabrication uses a variety of methods to build structures, machines and other products from raw materials. These materials can include castings, formed and expanded metals, flat metals, plate metal, and welding wire.

Metal fabrication generally falls into three main categories: industrial, structural and commercial.

• Industrial fabrication refers to the creation of pieces used in other equipment, which are often used by manufacturers.

• Structural fabrication pertains to metal parts used in buildings, shops and skyscrapers.

• Commercial fabrication refers to commercial goods and products, such as appliances.

Our welding repair covers components or products that are supplied by you the customer. Repair welding is a popular technique that involves the cracked material being inspected, cleaned and welded to re-join the material to the highest quality and maintain its strength.

Our fabrication covers the creation or modification of products/components from raw materials and manufactured to your own design and specifications, with the opportunity to carry out an MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection) test on the product/components which will produce a test certificate for your records. This method is used for the detection of surface and near-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials and is primarily used for crack detection.

The welding processes we us are;

• TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas)

• MIG (Metal Inert Gas)

• MMA (Manual Metal Arc)

Quality material we work with is;

• Steel

• Stainless steel

• Aluminium

We have bespoke experience in this sector from welding in confined spaces inside stainless chemical mixing tanks to fabricating whole operating platforms.
